Telltale signs of an imminent format change?

The company just launched a TV service called The Circle, and it simulcasts the Bill Cody morning show. The company finds ways to merchandise the brand in many ways.
Not a translator, but still a simulcast other than just AM.

I still remember TRYING to listen to the "Big 89 Rewind" on WLS a few years back, and I just could not get a usable signal. So I had to listen to them online. Impressive programming, even if it was for just one single day, but I still couldn't go "old school" and get the signal strictly off of AM radio, like I used to do back in the good ole days.
