I just noticed this, but WMFP is no longer an affiliate of the Sonlife Broadcasting Network anymore. It is now infomercials.

Sonlife Broadcasting Network is still there, but it’s just on a different channel.

WWDP/WMFP changed their subchannel config.

SonLife had been on 62-1 in 720p (16x9)i, but has been moved to 62-2 in 480i (16x9). 62-1 is now infomercials, sometimes identifying as RNN network (the owner of both WWDP and WMFP). 62-1 is in 720p (16x9).

62-1 is the must-carry channel for WMFP, and so cable systems are now carrying informercials/RNN, not SonLife.

Given the horrible OTA signal of WWDP/WMFP and the lack of cable coverage, SonLife is probably writing much smaller checks now...

What a waste of the limited number of remaining OTA channels in both the Boston and Providence markets this is...

Last night, both 62-1 and 46-1 were airing "RNN" coverage of the state of the union. I'll have to check again to see if they're always running the same programming or not. If it is, it's even more of a waste of 2 channels coming off the same transmitter, plus all the Comcast cable coverage they DO have.

I agree, the stations could be carrying networks like Decades and Antenna TV, and somehow improve their OTA signal if possible. Another wasteful signal is WYCN, , which I have never received and neither has virtually no one on this board from what I've heard
