Orson Bean

I remember Orson's role as Loren Bray on Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman.
He was great in that role. RIP, Orson.

I recall him as the artistic panelist who always illustrated his ballot card on To Tell the Truth.

Not to mention the mischief maker on the Match Game panel. He recorded a pilot for what became Classic Concentration in 1985, an experience he reportedly did not enjoy.

Terrible news. He's up in heaven now, taping an all new To Tell the Truth with Bud Collyer and the whole panel. May he RIP.

I remember him on "To Tell the Truth". I think of him as now being with Garry Moore, Kitty Carlisle, Peggy Cass and Bill Cullen.

I also liked him on "Dr. Quinn".

And he was on "Desperate Housewives". His wife on the show died, but her battle with cancer was also her real life.

I cannot think of one program in which he starred where he didn't bring
his amazing talents to improve the show. He was always fun to
watch and convincing in his roles....
