Stations that Sign-Off for the Night

I miss the old days where Station Sign-off for the night

I remember KRON (4) went off & I saw a weak Signal of then KCRL in Reno that was in the 80's in Pacifica on a 10" B/W TV

I don't know if KCRA (3) went off for the night, I saw that also on some night

Any Stations you remember going off & seeing a faint station on the same channel or saw a station on a channel near it?

I worked for a daytimer in the deep southeast US on 1520 and when we signed off, then KOMA Oldies 1520, ironically the same format as us... would come blasting in on the radio

From the Buffalo, NY area, where VHF Rf 2,4 and 7 were in use, it was
possible to receive Pittsburgh and Detroit stations on the occasional
sign off locally. KDKA and WTAE, Rf 2 and 4, from Pittsburgh as well
as WJBK and WDIV, Rf 2 and 4 from Detroit were viewable. Nearby
stations from Hamilton and Toronto, Ontario were on Rf 5, 9 and 11.
When they signed off, it was possible to receive Rf 5, WHEN from
Syracuse, NY and Rf 11, WTOL, Toledo, Ohio. After CBLT, Toronto
moved from Rf 6 to Rf 5, it was quite easy to receive WJAC Rf 6
from Johnstown, PA, "Serving millions from atop the Alleghenies."

I never saw it for myself, but sometimes KATU Portland's weak signal was apparently seen on Seattle cable in the early morning hours when CBUT (channel 99 cable) was off the air. One early morning around 6:00am I tried and just got static, no sign of a weak signal, and shortly after they went on with test pattern/tone.

Maybe about 1990 or so: Our cable in New Britain, CT carried WGBY-TV (PBS) channel 57 of Springfield, MA (they still do today). One night after sign off, a weak signal popped in from channel 57 of Philadelphia. It must've been a Saturday night or early Sunday morning. I distinctly remember seeing Smash Hits, which was a music video clip show hosted by Scott Shannon.

That was seen over the air from Vancouver! I have a friend on Vancouver Island (near Victoria) who received KATU numerous times over the years, especially in that interim time before CBUT kicked on the color bars. But I remember reading about someone who saw KATU on Seattle cable post-CBUT sign off, but I can't remember where it was.

I used to see KMOS-TV Ch. 6 in Sedalia\Warrensburg, MO & KCPT-TV Ch. 19 in Kansas City, MO & occasionally, KTWU-TV Ch. 11 in Topeka, KS signoff at night (Usually at Midnight.). I also remember seeing KSNT-TV Ch. 27 & KTKA-TV Ch. 49 (Also in Topeka, KS.) signing off at night as well.
Clip of KTWU-TV signing off one night in Spring or Summer 1998.
