Going on five days absent from the airwaves. Any word on what's up?

Nothing new, WTDY HD2 and 3 are off yet again. They have been on about 3 days since Labor Day, wrote to them, no reply. smmfh...

Maybe all the resources were up in Boston this weekend handling the changeover from Entercom's WAAF programming to the EMF National Feed... perhaps the problems/issues are handled on a "priority basis" LOL!

It wasn't 5 days, but they were off for a day or so while some work in the shack. There was a field engineer on site Tuesday the 3rd installing new equipment which was part of the outage

I wouldnt expect your estimations of off air time or even reasons to be remotely correct.. you're the same guy who said WNJC was off for over a week and it was likely because they couldnt pay the power bill. It was less then a week and a transmitter part got fried.

Is that the transmitter located in Camden, near the WWB & 676? Did they ever go with the "backup" transmitter in Center City the Merlin had approval for?

It's on one of the two towers for WTMR 800. Don't think they ever built the city center back up?

They were off air from I believe friday through monday. So roughly three/ four days. Don't start this again.

Then be accurate when you post stuff.. i've gone directly to the source to get info

You guys work well as a team. RadioDX reports the story, and SomeRadioGuy, made aware of the story, checks his sources and adds to/clarifies the report.

lol thanks, I think?

I work in commercial broadcast radio and have many friends on the technical side of broadcasting, so I can usually double check facta on a lot of stuff

WKVP is off air again today as of 5pm.
