Will Christmas Music Return to KEZ Soon?

Reading on some of the other boards, it looks like Christmas music is making a comeback here in March across the country with KYXY flipping to partial Christmas music during the lunch rush and evening hours in San Diego. St. Louis is in on it to. Any chance KEZ 99.9 flips back to Christmas music while this global Coronavirus pandemic is going on? It would be nice to hear some Christmas music to lift the spirits of the people.

A local station in my area has been silent for almost a year. It returned to the air Thursday night with, you guessed it, Christmas music (and this is in an area that has never had a local station go all-Christmas during the holiday season)

Yuck. Bad enough hearing that crap in November/December.

I don't think this is a good idea. I had a neighbor who went overboard with his Christmas lights. About a year ago he was really sick (had been for a while) and those lights were on. And the next day I found out he was gone. I had this feeling his wife had let him see them for the last time.

Hallmark is replaying all their Xmas flicks ad nauseam, so it's just a matter of time...

I love this quote:

“People are asking us to play it, let’s play some. You know me, I love Christmas music. I listen to Charlie Brown Christmas all year. If it helps people, let’s do it," said Beth, host of KEZ's morning show, Beth and Friends, according to the station's website.''

My spies tell me Dr. Akbar still has his lights up at the media hut.

If not the lights, I bet Nurse Jeff is still rockin' the reindeer antlers on the Gremlin. ;-)
