Weird Technicial Glitch Seen On KCTV-TV.

Back in 2017, I saw this weird technicial glitch during an episode of the Saturday morning CBS show, "The Inspectors", on KCTV-TV, Ch. 5, in Kansas City, MO.

What was going on here & what kind of software were they using?

Hard to say. There were several dips to black, then it looked like someone inadvertently routed a video multi-viewer to air. Whoever was in Master Control, whether a Hub or otherwise, was probably scrambling-punching around looking for a feed that wasn't dipping to black. By the look of the black dips, their Master Control switcher may have been malfunctioning, so they tried to use a bypass switcher. The bypass switcher may have been already selected to the multi-viewer when switched-to.

So this has been bothering you for three years?

No, I just finally got around to posting about it & was wondering what the problem could have been. Starting in late 2009, the master control for KCTV-TV was hubbed in Atlanta, GA at WGCL-TV, I don't know if it was in 2017 though. Thank you for your response.
