Conservative Talk Cowboy Debuts In Hays

Compete? I think it's got a chance. Western Kansas has nearly always been conservative. 70% voted for Trump in Ellis County alone (home to Hays). 95.3 will do just fine, I'm sure Rush Limbaugh has a fanbase with the rural crowd.

That part of Kansas is among the most conservative areas in the entire country. Limbaugh does well in far less right-leaning areas, so he, Beck and Hannity will find plenty of eager ears in Hays. The national sports talk at night, though, doesn't sound like it would have much appeal. Folks that far out in the boonies aren't likely to care about the NBA and NFL -- the primary topics for network sports talk -- as those in major metros.
