Planet Mikey now on The Pike

I heard him earlier this week.

What the (expletive) are Smash Mouth and Eve 6 doing on the same radio station as Richard Marx? 2005 wants its fad format back.

This isn't on Wikipedia, but Mikey was on the Binnie Frank stations afternoons on 106.3 Nashua and 107.5 in Portland about 3 or 4 years ago. Didn't last long.

I don’t recall anyone mentioning this but Planet Mikey is now on PM drive at 100.1 The Pike in Worcester.

According to Wikipedia he joined the station in February.

Always been a big fan of both Mikey Adams' show and 100 FM The Pike, so this works out really well!

Is there anywhere online where one can still find archived playlists from The Pike from the earlier years of the station, like around ten or so years ago? The station under the current name started during the mid-2000s if I remember correctly. Over time they have added more 90s and 2000s songs to the playlist- don't mind hearing a few of those songs mixed in, but generally speaking their playlist was deeper back then than it is now. I know they played I'm A Believer by Smash Mouth but have they played Walkin' on the Sun? Smash Mouth's best song in my opinion.

How long has it been since "Christina the Email Female" was on Planet Mikey? Nowadays they have listeners texting into the show instead of emailing.

One 1990s group I am glad The Pike has added to their playlist is Blues Traveler. Fits in really well with their format and some of the older classic rock songs they have always played. Always liked the song Run-Around and remember hearing it on The Pike for the first time a few years ago.

Also heard Big Yellow Taxi (the Counting Crows version) on 100.1 when tuning in The Pike from northeastern CT in 2018. Like that song as well but never thought I'd hear it on that station.
