Some noticeable NBC News Radio Affiliates.

Hi,

With what is going on in the world today, radio news is almost as important now than ever. NBC News Radio is definitely the smallest of the news networks in terms of overall domestic distribution (CBS, ABC, FOX, WWO, etc.) when you consider it’s connection with iHeartMedia would give them strong affiliation. Instead it’s not the case. However they’re three I’ve found that are somewhat consistent.

KSDB-FM 91.9 - Affiliate since 2017, top of the hour newscasts.

WCTC-AM 1450 The voice of Central New Jersey.

WKRC-AM 550 Cincinnati

And the news updates are podcasted on Spreaker.

Hopefully if you find anymore, feel free to reply on this post.
 
I see the iHeart music stations, including WNIC in Detroit, offering news updates in greater frequency with the current situation.

I think more iHeart stations will pick up NBC News Radio as their news provider as existing agreements with other providers expire.

It's a good product and iheart.com does offer a 24/7 channel of NBC News Radio.

I don't know of any other NBC News Radio affiliates, but I can always look but not at this tine.
 
KCAA 1050 Loma Linda CA is an NBC News affiliate.
There were a lot more in their days operated by Westwood One (post-CNN). Of course that's now the generic WW1 news service that's heard on several hundred stations.

They actually air CNBC Business Radio updates during the day on weekdays, and before it closed NBC Sports Radio top of the hour updates on the weekends. I don't know why they haven't picked up iHeart service.

You're right about the music stations. I listened to one a few weeks ago, B 104 out of Allentown, PA., they were playing out of the blue a special report style news update on a Sunday Afternoon.
