ENCO DAD control question

Are there any white papers, etc on setting up the ENCO DAD with regard in communications commands (macros or otherwise) using the DAD library for satellite control? I already have audio switching working well, just need to know the formatting for input/output commands, and integrating it using their library. They have almost no on-line support.

Yep, they keep a very tight reign on information to make sure you keep paying that annual support fee,

Are you controlling an external audio switcher by serial or IP?

Also, your DAD should have all the manuals already inside the system folder.

If you have a copy of the user manual, it's all in there. If not, and you have a current license, contact Enco for a copy. Even with their lowest support plan you should still get your question answered by them, but it will take time and be a bit frustrating. Enco support is the pits. Between that an their license fee I'm recommending clients move to something else. But when it works, it works.

Agree

I agree with the support comment. It could be a lot better. Upgrades have also gotten slack.
