Following a nationwide trend with news stations, KTAR jumped from a 3.8 to a 4.6 in March, undoubtedly thanks to it’s Coronavirus coverage. Strangely, KJZZ did not see any jump - they actually dropped from a 3.6 to a 3.5. The overall winner is 99.9 KESZ as they continue to ride it’s Christmas music coattails going from a 7.9 to a 8.3. I was also surprised to see Arizona Sports 98.7 KMVP hold steady despite no play by play coverage and actually increase from a 1.9 to a 2.0. Meanwhile in the Oldies battle, KAZG beat out the WOW! Factor with a 1.5 to KOAI’s 1.4. Wonder how long the WOW! factor will last?
