Dr. Phil under fire for COVID-19 comments

Dr. Phil McGraw's comments comparing swimming pool and car accident deaths to the coronavirus pandemic have him in hot water.

The daytime television host appeared on "The Ingraham Angle" Thursday to discuss the impact the lockdown has been having on people citing depression and poverty among other ailments.

"The fact of the matter is, the longer this lockdown goes on, the more vulnerable people get," McGraw said. "And it's like there's a tipping point. There's a point at which people start having enough problems in lockdown that it will actually create more destruction and actually more deaths across time than the actual virus will itself."

This comes out a few days after Dr. Oz was called out for his COVID-19 comments.

Mr. Know It All Dr. Phil is wrong and isn't a Dr. Doctor he just plays one on TV it was insane what he said on Fox News.

Dr. Phil's show used to be great, but it's turned into a lighter version of Maury or Jerry Springer in the past several years. Instead of food fights and finding out who the baby's father is, you have such episodes as "My Son Thinks He's A Cyborg" or when sweeps roll around, the catfishing episodes where older folks assume they're talking to this hunk but in reality it's some guy at a computer in Nigeria.
