Herman Cain

It seems to me what Newsmax is lacking is production values. A guy just sitting at a desk and talking doesn't exactly make for exciting TV. But then all of cable TV is looking pretty shabby these days. Maybe that's a plus for this upstart.

Newsmax TV is very low budget I don't call it a news TV station since all it airs is talk radio host most of the day and docs as well. Newsy is low budget at least they try being a news network it's what Headline News use to be although has gone home for the weekend as it's just news headlines from the past week.

I guess Herman wanted a venue to share his thoughts on the 2020 race. I thought he retired for real when he left his radio show a few years ago.

Evidently people like listening. From the article: Newsmax said it is now on "every major cable and satellite system"--including Directv, Dish, Comcast, Spectrum, Fios, Cox, and U-verse, reaching an audience of more than 100 million.

I have to believe they are either paying for the access or sharing revenue. They indeed are on Comcast and have gotten much broader clearance than OANN. For a time they were buying brokered time on independent broadcast stations to air one hour of programming a day and were airing on some digital subchannels.

This is what happens when you don't wear a mask when around others.
Please mask-up!

RIP Herman.
