Does anyone know if WDRE had t shirts or any various apparel because I have been dying to find something. WDRE is by far the best station that ever graced the philly airwaves, and the current WPHI is straight garbage.
Any place that might have one for sale online thank you

I agree, they were the best Alternative station ever. Then R1 with their "AGENDA" destroyed them, Soft Alternative WPLY and mom and pop WSNJ, for three under-performing formats, but that is just what they do, no matter what the final result is.
What is your source of billing for these stations? And while you say "underperforming" remember that 103.9 and 107.9 with their low ratings and small signals, are billing better than full-market signal WRFF. "Underperforming" to you is seeing just the vanity 6+ numbers and thinking the stations are failures, when they are anything but.

I don't like what they did to any of those stations, but don't call it an "AGENDA" (when we clearly can read through that word to what you really mean.) They strategically purchased stations and moved them to where they would fit best for the formats they know and run best. 103.9's signal (and the moved-in 107.9's signal) cover mostly the city where their urban formats are better suited. 100.3's signal is larger, but still not perfect, as it battles Z100 out of New York in north east areas.

Y100 and DRE billed more then any predictable format they keep trying and failing with, and that was with the poor 100.3 and 103.9 signals, before the upgrades. They even had the top morning team which is still number one today, so why pull the plug, hmmmm, I remember years back talking to McGuinn and Landow in a CC bar and them telling me the owners were laughing about flipping a big money maker to something they did not know how it would do, makes one wonder. Its not about the bucks, its more of a statement. Check out what they did to all the Alternative, non-urban and Rock stations they bought, even the top billers, like I said AGENDA...just the facts...
they are stronger now under R1 then when they were ALT.
WDRE 300w 1000' WPHI 280w 1050'
WPLY 30kw 570' WRNB 18kw 850'
A smaller signal holds no water to the R1 properties, they have a great listenable signal for the audience they are targeting. If you want to talk about the worst FM signal in the market that always does well think WXTU.

Guys I didn't mean to cause such a stir. I was simply asking about old WDRE shirts lol. Sure my comment was subjective, but they history and importance of the music they played is objectively important to rock as a genre overall, and sadly WRFF doesn't compare to WDRE.
Anyways, thanks for the info about old WDRE merch.

how can WXTU be the worst fm signal in the market? I highly doubt that..
