Hi all, curious if anyone is interesting in expanding the Atlanta radio history information available on the web. As you know, radio information is fragmented across many small sites with no powerhouse centralized site (that I'm aware of; certainly sites like ReelRadio.com have powerful, but not all-inclusive, content).
One of the best pages I found with a thumbnail sketch on Atlanta radio history is here: http://www.tangentsunset.com/radioatlanta.htm. I just reached out to the owner (Alex Cosper) to gauge his interest in both bringing the site forward through 2020 events (it was last updated in 2005) as well as back-filling with more historical information.
I have just a little content to add that would bring the site forward and expand particularly on the 70s-80s, but the level of knowledge in this forum could really make for a fantastic resource. Or perhaps one already exists and I am not aware of it.
Please let me know your thoughts. I would be happy to take info and compile it into a publishable format. Writing is probably the main asset I would bring to this project.
Thanks,
Chris Howell
