LiveXLive acquires Courtside Entertainment and PodcastOne in an $18 million stock transaction.

PodcastOne is perhaps best known for the Adam Carolla podcast, but they have a number of sports and music shows in its repertoire.

Hubbard Broadcasting owns 30% of PodcastOne.

It comes at a time when live events are on hold, but home listening to podcasts is growing.

The fact that PodcastOne does podcasts by sports or music celebrities is seen as a plus.

It was only $18 million for the entire company. But iHeart already has the #1 podcasting platform in the country.
