LeBron James to Host Star-Studded Virtual Graduation for Class of 2020

https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/n...studded-virtual-graduation-class-2020-1292546

With the Class of 2020 unable to throw their caps in the air this year due to the coronavirus, LeBron James is putting on a special graduation celebration.

The NBA superstar is partnering with Laurene Powell Jobs' XQ Institute and the Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF) to host a virtual graduation ceremony for the more than 3 million high school seniors in the U.S. Together, they've enlisted a collection of actors, musicians, athletes and activists to participate in the festivities, including Jonas Brothers, Yara Shahidi, Ben Platt, Lena Waithe, Megan Rapinoe, Pharrell Williams, Bad Bunny, Malala Yousafzai, Chika, YBN Cordae, Loren Gray, H.E.R., Brandan Bmike Odums and TikTok-ers Charli and Dixie D'Amelio.

Good one and in the article the graduation will be streamed on the broadcast networks ABC, CBS, Fox and NBC and on the Social media apps
YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, TikTok, PeopleTV and Complex Networks. This special will air Saturday, May 16, at 8 p.m. ET.

It's gonna be a great show, I think.

I love to watch news which are related to LeBron James and everything like that. Some of that news they can publish on official site but some of them - in social media networks like TikTok (even if it would be short videos), and it can be more useful and proper way to share information with their fans.

KTLA Los Angeles also airing it. Any other non-Big 4 affiliates? Independents?

Interesting that Fox gets on board with this national feel-good event when it ignored that concert that the other 3 networks carried last month.

as I posted an hour ago I assume the reason FOX passed on it was because the hosts were the 3 late night show hosts

I see the CW+ is carrying it. Damn I have 4 OTA stations here in Mankato (CBS, FOX, NBC, CW+) and its on all of them
Reminds me of younger days when there were 3 channels and if the president was on that night....your night was shot :)

cable nets carrying it
Freeform
FOX News
MSNBC
CNN
Fox Business

Looking at my program guide it's on:

3 CBS, 8 ABC, 30 NBC, 61 FOX, and 18 Univision.

Cable Networks: CNN, Freeform, and MSNBC.

Yep, all the major networks are airing it in Phoenix as well. KTVK/3, KTAZ/Telemundo 39, and KUTP/My45 are not. Given the Obamas' involvement in the program, I'm surprised Fox is airing it.

Fox News aired it as well. I enjoyed the show very entertaining just wish Obama didn't go political with the dig on the president otherwise it was a good speech by Obama.
