Stations air Amazon-produced story as if it was news

It's a Video News Release. Similar to a press release. Written by the PR hacks at a company giving the company's point of view.
 
Is this like "War of the Worlds"? Actually, the "story" interrupted the broadcast but in this case it would be the entire broadcast. Speaking of which, I hate that I missed a movie which was similar to that. I don't even remember what movie or when but I think Loni Anderson was in it. It was said this movie was so bad you would want it to be interrupted for a news bulletin.
