George was not only a great DJ, but also a great person. He was incredibly funny and was a character throughout his career...his quirky stories would bring tears of laughter to your eyes. One I recall is that he would occasionally take his pants off when he did his show...it was a weekend and usually no one around. Except, one day the boss (possibly Larry Levite) stopped in unexpectedly, strolled into the studio, saw a pair of trousers hanging from the hook, looked at George in his undies, and was speechless. Don't know what the dialogue was at that point, but I wish I had been a fly on the wall! R.I.P., "Mumblin' Berger", you were memorable! Condolences to your dear wife Debbie, daughter Heather, grandchildren, brothers, and sister.
