So I ordered a Sangean PR - D 19 today to replace my aging Insignia™ - Tabletop FM/HD Radio - Black. The turning forward button is absolutely shot. I'm taking it to the Ozarks next month for a vacation.

Will do! I expect to basically get everything here in DFW plus i'm going to try for whichever 97.5 I can get, either Waco or Wichita Falls. In the Ozarks i'm shooting for maybe CKLW and eastern US siginals.
Anyone have a Sangean PR - D 19 or 18? Things I need to look out for?

I got a PR-D18 last year.
Certainly not as powerful AM reception as my PR-D5 but very good for it's small size.
I'd say the FM reception is equal to the PR-D5.
It's such a nice compact solid little radio and I'm glad to have it as an addition to my other radios.

Is the PR D5 Discontinued?
The PR D 14 was on my list, and still is. I wasn't sure what the major differences were, so I went with the 19. One thing that's a slight annoyance is no AC Adapter.
I was going to try for CKLW, WSM, WCBS, WINS, KYW, etc in the Ozarks.
Is the PR D5 Discontinued?
The PR-D14 is a better DXer than the PR-D18, I know that much. And with 4 D-Cells, it will run on a set of batteries for quite a while (170 hours according to the specs) -- longer than a set of batteries lasts in a PR-D5. The difference, of course, is the stereo on FM. And the PR-D5 probably has a longer loopstick. Like I said, the PR-D5 has a twin coil, 200 mm loopstick. The 14 probably has a smaller one, which may or may not be twin coil, but side by side, I hear little difference in reception of DX, surprisingly enough.
And yes, the PR-D5 is still available. The white one is standard, the black case one looks quite cool. Same exact guts inside.
I need to add here, that the PR-D14 is indeed stereo through the headphones, as is the PR-D18 (and most Sangean radios are). But I was referring to the PR-D5's stereo speakers in my comments above mentioning it as stereo.
How does the PR-D14 compare in sensitivity/selectivity on FM to the PR-D5?
I am not an FM DXer, so to me they seem the same -- but then, I don't really know the FM band here well, aside from the usual culprits.... I'll do a comparison over the next couple of days and then post what I've observed.
So is the PR D 14 a good purchase compared to my PR D 19?
