I think no one cares about these musical chair stations. They were off the air a few months ago and no one noticed on their social media platforms. Who ever is running these stations probably has no experience in radio or is completely delusional. Just a terrible operation overall.

(And that's besides the ongoing interference issues).

This evening in Cy-Fair I am hearing:

Dead air (in mono) on 92.5
Rumba on 102.5
La Caliente on 104.5 (and the station is announcing this frequency)
Dead air (in stereo) on 105.3

Oh, yes, Voz 880 still going on AM.

Heard an announcement on 102.5 saying

You can hear us on your Radio on 102.5 and on your phone by downloading Platinomax.

No mention of 92.5 at all.

You want to talk delusional? There’s a guy named Carlos Lopez that bought AM 1300 in Lumberton and is marketing it as a Houston Tejano station. The signal couldn’t reach Houston if it had double the power. And it hasn’t been on the air in MONTHS.

At a check this afternoon 1380, 1590 and 98.3 were running the same thing. Different programming than 980 or 88.1 (and those two had their own separate programming.)

Didn't realize there had been another programmer change on 1480; similar formats.
 
We're trying to update the Wikipedia article. What are they airing right now and where is the HD feed or AM that they are dependent on?
