WENT 1340 has started online streaming
This is an example of not how to do streaming and lacking a web presence. WENT is paying for a stream, but chooses to put the player on a white, generic page that has zero revenue or really any upside. For just a little more effort and no, or little cost, their salesperson could at least offer some page real estate as a (albeit basic) digital ad component, or as a bonus ad for their loyal on air advertisers.
"Ooo, hey everybody, we're streaming on the Interwebs!!" 1990's thinking.
WENT has a very good website with no clutter or ads. Most radio station websites are so bloated with unnecessary material, popup ads, and autoplay videos. It all takes a long time to load and consumes bandwidth. While they could put in some ads, they should try to keep the site simple and quick to load.
