From 1963 to 1972, in SE Michigan and Northern Michigan at Night, it was WKNR, Keener 13, Dearborn/Detroit. Now it is WDTW. You could get it in Chicago during Critical Hours sometimes, on their two tower Day Pattern.
In Northern Michigan Days, it is was WCCW 1310.
WCCW 1310 has the land they have their towers on up for sale. It has been 15000 watts Day and 7500 watts Night with three towers Day and four towers Night. They had a Construction Permit for 50000 watts Daytime with three towers, but it was never built. It is not clear whether they plan to turn the license in, or if they will move the TL back to the original location (WCCW-FM 107.5 is still on that tower), or to the WTCM (AM) 580 location in some fashion, which is now 50000/1100 DA-2. They don't have a translator-yet.
I thought David might be interested if he didn't already know.
