SiriusXM announced today the launch of Andy Cohen's Pride Radio on Friday, June 26. Andy Cohen's Pride Radio, a limited-edition music channel taking over Radio Andy, will celebrate Pride all weekend long with beloved Pride anthems, exclusive DJ sets and celebrity Guest DJs.

Listeners will be able to hear music from artists including Lady Gaga, Madonna, Beyoncé, Whitney Houston, Rihanna, George Michael, Cher, Britney Spears, Diana Ross, Miley Cyrus, Elton John and more.

Almost doing what OutQ use to do musically.

How come no one ever complains about the musical stereotyping of LGBT people? Mindless dance tunes, campy ballads, '70s glam ... surely one's musical taste, or lack of same, isn't predetermined by one's sexuality! Does Cohen, whose name is attached to this channel, actually listen to that stuff exclusively?

There use to be a gay station on sirius that played club type music and had mostly gay hosts I don’t quite remember what channel it was though don’t think it was out q.

The HD radio subchannels (Pride, Channel Q) near me sound like your typical CHR/hot AC station with some more EDM mixed in. If not for the promos, and very few talk shows, it would be hard to know these as "LGBT music" stations.
