It's in the first sentence of the linked article. Here's a hint: 102.1 is an AM translator.

Oops. I just read what was clipped into this thread. I went the long way round and did a search on Radio-Locator and did not see anything on 102.1.

CHECK fccdata.org they have a cp to move away from the city but the blue contour is now. i dont know how 102.1 gets its signal because it has to fed by hd or an am station. the am in covington that feeds 105.5 dont reach atlanta

I'd have to check the filing, but 102.1 could also be fed by 105.5 if it can get the station off-air. Granted, it can't be owned by the same people who own the originating station, but there are a few instances where translators feed translators.

I believe that WTZA am 1010 is the program for what was once 102.1 now 101.9 mhz. And it dose not need to be over the air so as am station gets a translator this lease has began a news talk format.And every one try and use fccinfo.com ........
