So Kirk Minihane did a livestream through Twitter/Periscope talking about WEEI getting decimated by WBZ-FM.

Now the hashtag #CancelWEEI is trending on Twitter, possible elsewhere. I know that there's been a lot of people upset with the way Kirk was treated by Entercom, and it's left a lot of bad blood, so I'm curious to know what this forum thinks about it.

if I remember correctly, he said a ton of homophobic/transphobic stuff on air, wouldn't apologize, and that's why he was fired. he can kick rocks

If he had a podcast, with a video component on YouTube, with a considerable following and sponsorship deals, I’m sure he’d net a decent amount of money. I’ve not got the slightest clue what he’d be making if he’d still be at WEEI though.

Then again with the state he’s been in from the looks of it, I don’t know if that’s in the cards.
