They preempted that for this?

In Michigan:
WDIV (Detroit - Graham) is airing a local special about good things in the Detroit area.
WOOD (Grand Rapids - Nexstar) is airing a local COVID special.
WEYI (Flint-Saginaw-Bay City - Sinclair) is listed as airing the 30 Rock special, despite it being a sister station to WPBN and WNWO.
WILX (Lansing - Gray), WNDU (South Bend - Gray), and WLUC (Marquette - Gray) are airing Full Court Press Now: COVID Crisis.
WPBN (Traverse City-Cadillac-Alpena - Sinclair) and WNWO (Toledo - Sinclair) are airing two episodes of Family Feud.

The only part of Michigan that will get it on schedule is far southwest Michigan, as WMAQ (NBC O&O) is on cable in parts of Berrien County.

In Illinois, most NBC stations actually still carried tonight's 30 Rock reunion.

The only one within the state itself that didn't carry it was WEEK-25.1 Peoria (owned by Quincy Media), which aired a local education special instead. Interestingly, other Quincy Media-owned NBC affiliates in the state (WREX-13.1 Rockford, and flagship WGEM-10.1 Quincy), still actually aired 30 Rock.

The only other Illinois NBC stations that passed on 30 Rock tonight were out-of-state stations which also serve parts of the state: KSDK-5.1 St. Louis and WTWO-2.1 Terre Haute (WTWO had "Vacation Destinations"; I didn't see what KSDK aired tonight).

Normally on Saturdays and Sundays, PGA golf coverage on CBS would start at 3ET/2CT. Occasionally, CBS's coverage would start early for some tournaments (e.g., 1:30 CT), but I don't recall it ever starting after 3E/2C.

Until today (Sunday). Today's CBS coverage of the Memorial Tournament (Jack Nicklaus's tournament in Dublin, OH) didn't start until 3:30 ET/2:30 CT. For two hours prior CBS had "Team Tennis." I don't watch tennis but love golf, so that programming decision is a head-stratcher. Interestingly, yesterday's (Saturday) Memorial coverage did start at the normal 3E/2CT.

However, CBS's Memorial coverage is slated to run until 7E/6C tonight. Meaning no CBS or local news. And with 60 Minutes in play for a potential delay (let Grandma and Grandpa know!). On top of that, play at the tournament resumed after a short weather delay, so there may be a 60 Minutes delay indeed.

The Tiger Woods factor. This was his first tournament back after the coronavirus shutdown and he's still the biggest name in golf regardless of his spotty performances in recent years.

considering he finished tied for 40th that seems unlikely. He teed off at 11:25 and was long in the clubhouse before the "end time" (as noted in guides)

Don't they always delay 60 Minutes when sports overrun? I've never heard of sporting events being forced to continue on another channel due to time constraints.

nope I've seen golf tournaments cut right at 6:00 CDT for the East and Central Time zones. Jim Nantz says East and Central time zones can watch it on cbssports.com or golf channel and "most" Mountain and Pacific stations will stay with golf.

It kind of depends on the tournament and how many holes are left. If there's a long delay, they'll switch it to the golf channel for 60 minutes, but if it's one hole left they'll wait.

Nexstar has been cranking out the specials lately. All New York State markets with Nexstar-owned stations aired a half-hour special titled "Destination NY" tonight at 7:00 PM Eastern. The special will air again (either as a repeat or a second installment) this Saturday at the same time. The following stations are pre-empting the following programming. Of course, with this special slotted for 7:00 PM in the Eastern Time Zone, it's no surprise which show is the most affected.

Plattsburgh/WVNY ABC 22: Only airing Wednesday's special, replacing local news. Sticking with the hour-long weekend edition of Extra on Saturday.

Watertown/WWTI ABC 50: The Big Bang Theory - Pre-empted entirely both days. Also, both Destination NY specials are airing on the .2 CW+ subchannel, Wednesday at 7:30 PM (pre-empting Family Guy), and Saturday at 6:30 PM (pre-empting Bob's Burgers).

Elmira/WETM NBC 18: Jeopardy! - Wednesday episode moves to 18.2 replacing a repeat of 18.1's 6:00 news, Saturday episode pre-empted entirely.

Utica/WUTR ABC 20: Entertainment Tonight - Wednesday episode bumped to 1:07 AM (though ET repeats on sister WFXV FOX 33 the following weekday at noon), ET Weekend on Saturday moves earlier to 5:30 PM, both makegoods replacing Paid Programming, one of which moves to Saturday at 7:30 to fill the gap.

Syracuse/WSYR ABC 9: Entertainment Tonight - Pre-empted entirely. There is no encore for the weekday airings, but there is for the weekend ones Mondays at 2:05 AM. Since ET Weekend is an hour but the special is only half an hour, Saturday at 7:30 is filled with an infomercial.

Buffalo/WIVB CBS 4: Wheel of Fortune - moves to WNLO CW 23 both days, replacing Inside Edition on Wednesday (it repeats regardless at 12:30 AM) and Pawn Stars on Saturday.

Albany/WTEN ABC 10: Wheel of Fortune - Wednesday episode bumped to 1:05 AM, Saturday episode bumped to 2:37 AM, both replacing Paid Programming. During past pre-emptions, WOF moved to WXXA FOX 23. They didn't say why this wouldn't be the case this time, but I bet it's because Jeopardy! wouldn't be able to move with it since it's not affected this time.

Rochester/WROC CBS 8: Wheel of Fortune - Wednesday episode bumped to 2:37 AM, Saturday episode bumped to 1:35 AM, both replacing Paid Programming.

Binghamton/WIVT ABC 34: Wheel of Fortune - Very interesting make-up method for this one. To make up for no WOF on Wednesday or Saturday, three episodes will air on Friday. Wednesday's episode at 5:00 PM, Saturday's episode a day early at 5:30 PM (these two airings replace The Dr. Oz Show), and Friday's episode at 7:00 PM as usual. Very rare for a station to air a weekend syndie run on a Friday. I do recall one incident about three years ago where WOF had to pull a repeat episode scheduled for a Friday and all stations aired the Saturday episode on both Friday and Saturday, which was weird but I guess there was no time for them to send a different episode for Friday.

Same thing tonight and this Saturday. Same stations, same rescheduling for syndies, presumably, although many of them did not have the special listed. Apparently both weekly airings are the same special since this one was referred to as the second installment and not the third.

WKRC is Airing the Reds game right now. It's a tradition for them to air the Opening Day game. CBS is airing some special called The Greatest #AtHome Videos at 8:00 PM. Don't know what's going to happen with that.

WKRC airs an hour-long pregame show at 5:00 PM Eastern in place of a regular newscast, and the game itself starts at 6:00.

CBS Evening News is pre-empted at 6:30, but it always re-airs the following weekday at 4:00 AM, so tonight's edition can still be seen on Monday.

Inside Edition at 7:00 is fully pre-empted and WKRC does not carry the optional encore, except for its weekend edition (which airs Sundays at 3:05 AM and 11:30 PM).

Entertainment Tonight at 7:30 is also fully pre-empted. Although WKRC does normally re-air Friday episodes at 2:07 AM, both airings are lost tonight. Monday-Thursday episodes only air once. The weekend edition airs on WKRC Saturdays at 7:00 PM and on WKRC-DT2 CW Sundays at 6:00 PM.

The Greatest At Home Videos is not a special, but the premiere of a new series. Because of the Reds game, it is bumped to 1:37 AM, replacing Comics Unleashed and the Friday encore of ET.

Oh, I didn't realize it was actually a series. My bad.

In Texas all shows are pre-empted for Hurricane Hanna. Yes we are approaching hurricane season as it starts to ramp up in the next month or so.

Not all of Texas, just the Southeastern area. Remember, Texas is over 80 times larger than Puerto Rico where a hurricane devastated the territory from East to West. In Dallas and Amarillo and El Paso, they are not quite as worried as in Harlingen or McAllen or Corpus.
