How about Mexico on July 3rd. and 4th., 1976? That was the weekend that the US Information Agency aired a 15 part program called "Salute Via Satellite" to honor the Bicentennial of the USA. You could also try a similar search for Brazil.

What did it have to do with Mexico or Brazil?

In Latin America, everyone wants to visit Disneyland, but nobody likes the Monroe Doctrine. Honoring Mickey, yes. Honoring a US Bicentennial, no.

As a matter of fact, yes. The US Information Agency broadcast the "Salute by Satellite" to over 30 countries worldwide on July 3rd. & 4th. So in Mexico, it would have been in Spanish, while in Brazil, it would have been in Brazilian Portuguese.
