DX World BCB Logger has gone 404

I haven't been posting much on the site lately, as MW DX has been iffy, but the much used BCB Logger is now gone. I notice that one of its sister sites (mentioned elsewhere on these pages) is missing also. Kind of sad. I used to use the BCB Logger a lot, and before that I used to post my SW logs on the Shortwave DX Logbook, too.

Looks like the end of an era perhaps. There was another useful MW DX site that went 404 about 5 years ago, which had pretty good station listings. The owner of that site grew bored with MW and tired of maintaining the site. I still miss that one.

Suggest you join the National Radio Club. I've been a member since 1958 or '59 and it's the best AM club in the Western Hemisphere. If you are on the West Coast, the IRCA is also good (I was one of the founders back in 1964). Both have great information and even an annual convention!

Supposedly its just a site redesign. Lets hope the site owner actually does something this time about some problems with the site

What were the problems? I know that from time to time there would be prank posts from passing non-DXers, but I never saw that many of them on the pages I went to (BCB Logger, Logbook, SW Logger).

TVFM logger had tons of trolls and non-DX conversation and the site op got sick of it, so he took everything off. Will come back soon as possibly a log-in or pay site.

Dxers are cheap, no ones gonna pay for it. Ive been suggesting a log in for it for months

FYI to all you MW DXers: the BCB Logger is back on and running. Apparently has been back up for a few days. Awesome.
