Wilford Brimley, 85

This is so sad. While he was made fun with those Liberty Medical commercials (which aired nearly every time TPIR was on), his roles on Our House, Cocoon, The Natural and others made TV and movies great. May he forever RIP.

I thought he was much older but he had health problems. Amazing he stayed with us so long.

He was very good in "Our House" where Shannen Doherty was his granddaughter who had an attitude problem even then and he had to set her straight more than once.

Ohhh....I remember that show! it used to follow the NFL games when NBC had AFC rights. "Our House" like you said had Shannen Doherty was his granddaughter who had an attitude problem even then and he had to set her straight more than once.

What i remember was that NBC showed "Our House" in it's entirety when the late games ran late, so i was hooked to NBC's lineup then. Although I think it was the only NBC show i watched after football- I never could watch whatever they had at 7:00 in that era, like "The Torkelsons"?
