The interesting question is whether the same (although extreme, to say the least) contrarian opinion a year or two ago would not have had the same results.

This the question is whether this is a true awakening and new reality, or just a pendulum swing to an extreme before it settles in the middle somewhere.

Caveat: I'm not approving the guy's post... just looking at whether this is a reaction or an over-reaction to different perspectives.

Of course, that is the extreme. As Godwin's Law says, mentioning "Hitler" in any argument means you have lost.

Cliff Mass was on the Dori Monson show today "clarifying" his statements and his perspective as an old jewish white guy... In addition, that he was referring to the looters and arsonists, not the "peaceful" protesters...

He also mentions that KNKX what under heavy social media pressure to remove him already due to he not being supportive enough of "climate change"

Loss of being on the air was because he called someone a Nazi via his personal blog. He didn't make the comment over the air.

Ok, I was made of this via the Lars Larson radio NW show where he was a guest. It wasn’t made clear that this was on his blog, but he defended it on the radio.

Have any of you read his blog that caused the issue? I have. The silencing of a different opinion is a dangerous place to go. I don't always agree with him but I think he was right on with his observations. His cultural background does give him some knowledge of the matter. As I have stated in another thread. The people that are so quick to cancel a differing opinion need to look at themselves before they lash out at someone else. Fortunately, is not his livelihood at stake in this case.

You should read your employee handbook. I'm pretty sure somewhere in there is a line that says you can be subject to discipline or terminated if you say or do something that puts your employer in a bad place.
