iHeart's BIN coming to Philly

They have a budget for this project.

BTW I bet the prices are lower now.

Also remember I'm mistaken, iHeart (then Clear Channel) sold their AM stations to Dan Snyder (now "Washington Team") around 2008. It was Snyder who sold off the AMs 2-3 years ago. Compared to 2008, a daytime AM'er in DC is a steal.

I'll miss Rock Nation on WRFF HD-2. I can still stream it on the iHeart app, but it was nice to have a quick preset to get to it.

Gave the BIN a listen while on a short drive yesterday (on 105.3-2). It sounded really good. Straightforward news/talk.

Does anyone know what's on 104.1 in Trenton? BIN would be a good fit for it too.

I haven't driven up that way in a while. I ASSUME it's still airing Smooth Jazz fed from WISX-HD2, but I'm not 100% sure.

Just checked, it's smooth jazz.

funny thing is, wrff hd2 was the only sub that made the philly ratings, it was no fluke, I listened frequently..with so many useless subs to blow up they pick rock nation, at least they were current, not playing the same stale crap for 10 years or more.

Remember that HD sub-channels of subscribed stations will "make the book" if they get one quarter hour of credit during a 7-day period.

In the case of WRFF HD2, the AQH audience is 100 (the default for a "thanks for participñating" showing) and a cume of 11,300 which is the projected value of one PPM meter bearer.

In other words, in reality, a statistical "nobody" was listening.
