WTVN tower crumples in storm

They must be doing tuning and testing. I was driving to Rickenbacker and the signal kept distorting where it normally doesn't during the day.

I was down in southern Ohio earlier in the week and I was having problems picking up WTVN too in the middle of the day. They must be tuning the new tower.

Just tuned in out here in Reynoldsburg and 610 is coming in just fine. If they were back to the normal nighttime pattern, I'd be in a very deep null, the same one that falls over the 70-270 interchange a few miles west of me. Guessing they're still on that 1,250-watt night pattern for now, but I'll check and see around town over the next few days if I hear any distortion like you guys have heard.

I was out about 8 pm tonight heading down Alum Creek just off i-270 and the nulls were back.

That is one of the best places to check, for sure.
I'll have to check 610 on one of my radios before I go to bed shortly, but man, I never thought it'd take 2 1/2 years for that pattern to come back. I imagine WTVN is booming into northern Ohio, Michigan and Ontario like in the old days.
