Rev 92.7

Is the station still on the air?? The web site hasn't been updated in....years. i read today the former owner Ed Stoltz has until Sept. 11th to turn everything over at this station, one in Palm Desert, and yet another in Las Vegas, to the current legal owner, one Larry Patrick. I'm guessing all three are currently glorified jukeboxes, perhaps with some advertising left. Can't say as all 3 have also not streaned in a very very long time.

Gadfly Stolz is left with KBET in Las Vegas...and I'd bet he doesn't turn in the keys for the yanked stations by the deadline. This guy has been marching to the beat of his own drum for decades, and will probably file another lawsuit.

Larry Patrick is the court appointed administrator for the seized assets and he will take charge of disposing of them to meet the due payments. He is not the owner... he is sort of like a trustee for an estate.

I'm listening to REV 92.7 in my apartment at the moment (9/5/2020) at 12:27AM PDT and it's still on the air as REV 92.7 (CHR-Pop) format.

I remember StoltZ was on the defendants seat due to the allegations that he did not pay the label and songwriters over royalties when he was sued over his stations.

Yes Entercom Sacramento has the last laugh on this one now that their rival is on the Karma seat!

Yes, it was on air a few months ago and it appears from posters above, it still is.

About 850 miles away in Laramie, WY I was hearing several Sacramento and San Francisco signals.. and REv 92.7 was one of them during an Eskip event on Friday May 15th at 558pm mountain.

Here's my audio recording:

Do you think MeTV could be interested in buying this station? They program several soft oldies stations nationwide, including Chicago.

More Specifically the 2020 management of Entercom does not have to deal with Stoltz they are breathing in a sigh of relief.

Entercom COO Susan Larkin today announced a revamping of the company’s Regional President structure.

Three Regional Presidents will lose those duties to focus on their other responsibilities in the company. Bob Phillips remains Chief Revenue Officer. Michael Doyle stays President of Sales Operations. Dave Alpert will focus on being SVP/Market Manager for Kansas City.

The market by market breakdown for each Regional President going forward will be:

Doug Abernethy – Atlanta, Charlotte, Denver, Greensboro, Greenville-Spartanburg, Kansas City, Las Vegas, Norfolk, Phoenix, Portland, Richmond, Sacramento, St. Louis, San Francisco, Seattle, Wichita
Jeff Federman – Los Angeles, Riverside, San Diego
Mark Hannon – Baltimore, Boston, Buffalo, Cleveland, Detroit, Hartford, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Providence, Rochester, Springfield, Washington D.C., Wilkes-Barre/Scranton
Claudia Menegus – Gainesville, Memphis, Miami, Orlando
Brian Purdy – Austin, Chattanooga, Dallas, Houston, New Orleans
Rachel Williamson – Chicago, Madison, Milwaukee, Minneapolis
Larkin will retain oversight of New York City.

what does this who their management is have to do with any of this?

Its the old story of the Ed Stolz Vs. Entercom issue. Yes its an old case of Ax Grinding. Back to 92.7 they were supposed to go to a court appointed receivership for KREV and his Palm Springs and Las Vegas Stations as a result over royalties to songwriters and labels.
