KREX et al were mostly CBS, but did clear NBC's Wings at 6pm MT, which was parallel with NBC affiliates in the Eastern and Central time zones (8pm ET/7pm CT) but an hour ahead of KCNC and KOAA, which had cable carriage in western Colorado

We had these Denver stations on satellite back then. I remember how KMGH aired the CBS daytime lineup out of pattern and how KCNC aired nothing but news and local programs outside of NBC networking programming. I liked having these stations because primetime shows were an hour later, so if we missed something we had another chance to see it...in the days before DVR.

No schedule for KDVR 31?? There were afterall (And IIRC) the local FOX affiliate

Sorry, the 1993 Southern Colorado edition did not include KDVR nor KTVD at all. However Colorado Springs’ Fox station is listed under KXRM.

And obviously KBDI 12 was not covered either (They had a translator on 58 at the time)

Plus, while KDVR was a Fox O&O & airewd the entire Fox schedule pretty much in pattern, they had a different schedule when it came to syndie shows

Also (Since I LIVED in Denver at the time & still do BTW :D ), I distinctly remember KMGH airing TPIR at 9:00 AM with a syndie game show at 10:00, B&B at 10:30 (One dayu delay) & Y&R at 11:00 so what you have can't be accurate. This held true until shortly before the switch to ABC when they began to air Loving at 10:00 AM & b&B (Definately) at 10:30

This schedule is correct because we had KMGH on satellite and I remember the schedule. I do remember Loving being added and airing with B&B, but I don't recall if Price is Right then moved to 9:00 or they dropped it, because in 1994, they aired Regis & Kathie Lee at 9:00. Here's a link to the schedule in November 1994. https://www.radiodiscussions.com/sh...-November-11-1994&highlight=Northern+Colorado

The affiliation switch didn't take place until September 10, 1995.

You're memory might be a little faulty my friend although KMGH did air Y&R at 11 in the late 80's until like '90 or '91 or so. Originally KMGH did air B&B at 12:30 but by '89 it was pre-empted for a couple years(I can't remember why). I think TPIR aired at 9AM on KMGH until the mid-80s or so but then moved to 10 and later 10:30. The addition of Loving didn't happen until the summer of '95 as even my April 1995 listings from the Sterling Journal Advocate show still display the same KMGH schedule (plus or minus a couple syndicated shows).

If I recall, KMGH dropped Price is Right and aired Loving at 10:30 (since KUSA didn't have it) and their news expanded to an hour from 11-12. In September when the affiliation switch occurred, the CBS soaps were replaced by the ABC soaps--AMC at 12, GH at 1, and OLTL at 2. I can't remember if they aired Mike & Maty or if it was aired late at night. I was thinking they had Regis & Kathie Lee at 9, but can't recall what they replaced Bold and the Beautiful with at 10. I remember KCNC aired the CBS daytime lineup with the standard Central/Pacific schedule with Price is Right at 10, Y&R at 11, Bold at 12:30 after the switch.

That’s a good question! Interestingly enough the 1998 schedules I have KMGH aired Port Charles at 10:30(after Pictionary revival lol) an hour newscast at 11, followed by AMC, GH, and OLTL. The
View aired overnight, although in the case of KRDO at 2PM after the soaps!. KUSA kept the KCNC tradition of airing Days of our Lives at 3PM for several years after the switch.

Not sure why JeeperOne questioned actual print material I have have lmao.

I was able to get a Denver Edition TV Guide from 1985 and I added the listings for it. Back then KMGH did air Price is Right at 9 and Y&R at 11.
