They preempted that for this?

I wonder what's going to happen with the other shows. The second game doesn't start untill 10:15 so I'm pretty sure WZTV is airing the Fox shows tonight.

since FOX programming runs from 7-9 Central they will (Edit: zap2it confirms that)
KTVD pushes My Network "programming" from 7-9 to midnight to 2am pre-empting 2 Broke Girls x2 and Blackish x2. Programming nuked is Mom, Mike & Molly x2, and King of Queens.
KTVD is also replaying the game Tuesday from 6-9. Programming changes are Extra moves to 5 (replacing Peoples Court), "Broncos TV" (a half hour daily show) moves up an hour (to 5:30) and My Network gets bumped to 10-midnight after news

So I wonder if WZTV will air a pre game after the Fox Programming?

Also I'm pretty sure WPIX is moving the CW programming to Saturday.

Anyone know what's going to happen to WTAE and WPIX tonight? There airing the game so I'm pretty sure ABC and CW programming are moving to late night.

I already mentioned about WTAE with DWTS
WTAE got first right of refusal (Hearst) and took the game. DWTS shows at 1am in Pittsburgh

WPIX you already answered and it was confirmed via zap2it. Its moved to Saturday 8-10
Also I'm pretty sure WPIX is moving the CW programming to Saturday.

As for syndies on WPIX tonight, 6:30-8:00 programs The Goldbergs/black-ish/black-ish were all bumped overnight. The two black-ish's were moved to 2:00 and 2:30 AM, replacing a repeat of the 10:00 news, and Goldbergs was bumped to 3:30 AM, paired with another Goldbergs and replacing one of two Last Man Standings. Also, since the news is 10:30-11:30 tonight (or later), Seinfeld x 2 slides back from 11-12 to 11:30-12:30, dropping WPIX's only remaining run of Friends at 12:00 (they've been carrying syndie Friends since the WB days).

Since NFL season is back, Wheel of Fortune (and in some cases, other shows) are being pre-empted once a week for local NFL programs. On Tuesdays, WKRN ABC 2 in Nashville bumps it to 12:07 AM Central due to "The Mike Vrabel Show" (sliding back Extra and a Dr. Phil encore half an hour and dropping Tuesday episodes of Right This Minute). On Fridays, WBZ CBS 4 in Boston bumps it to 2:07 AM Eastern (and Jeopardy! to 2:37 in most cases) due to "Patriots All Access" (in place of infomercials). On Saturdays starting next week, WPXI NBC 11 in Pittsburgh bumps it super-early to 4:00 AM Eastern Saturday morning (replacing Forensic Files) due to "The Jerome Bettis Show", which also airs at 1:03 AM, its only airing this weekend due to US Open/NHL.

Also, WLNY 10/55 in New York began its "Inside the NY Jets" program this week (also airs Monday nights at 10 on 98.7 ESPN Radio). It airs at 7:00 PM Easterns Tuesdays, bumping Last Man Standing to 2:35 AM, which bumps Tuesday episodes of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? to Sundays at 2:00 PM.

One of the local newspapers puts its TV section online for all to see. WCNC in Charlotte has a news special scheduled from 8-10 tomorrow night. What is supposed to air on NBC?

Repeats of episodes 2 and 3 of Transplant. The special is actually only one hour, so only the first one is pre-empted. It is not being made up, however.

NBC stations will have some programming changes today and tomorrow due to the US Open, which runs from 2-5 PM Eastern Thursday and 4-7 PM Friday (and 11A-7:30P Saturday).

Days of Our Lives will have no airing these two days, allowing stations to move up pre-empted syndies.

WNBC 4 New York: On Thursday, Kelly Clarkson moves up from 2:00 to Days' slot at 12:00. Ellen moves up from 3:00 to 1:00, bumping Access Daily to 2:38 AM in place of the Kelly encore. Thursday's Access Daily will also air Friday at 12:00, followed immediately by the current day's episode at the usual 1:00.

WVIT 30 Hartford: Mostly the same as WNBC, except Thursday's Kelly encore remains overnight, so Thursday's Access Daily will only air once, on Friday at 12:00, instead of twice. It normally only airs once on both stations, anyway.

Since WEWS is airing the game tonight I wonder what's going to happen with the ABC shows tonight.

Nothing. Everything pre-empted by the game plus its pregame and postgame are gone entirely tonight, starting from 7:00: The List (does not repeat), Access Hollywood (only Friday and weekend episodes air twice), Celebrity Family Feud (repeat), Holey Moley (new), Match Game (repeat), 11:00 news, Jimmy Kimmel Live! (first airing), and Nightline. Postgame runs all the way to 12:36 AM, or possibly later if the game runs over. The normal lineup picks up from the encore of Kimmel at 12:36.

Forgot a couple changes for Friday. Since NBC Nightly News is pre-empted in its normal time slot, it looks like NBC is offering a feed of it at 7:30 PM Eastern (although it may just be an existing feed for the Mountain Time Zone), and stations can opt to air it at that time. I suppose it's also possible that they will produce it live at 7:30, although surely there must be one NBC affiliate in the East Coast that normally delays it to 7:00 ET/6:00 CT.

Anyway, being O&O's, WNBC and WVIT are both opting to air Nightly News at 7:30 on Friday. All Access will not be airing at all on either station. WVIT is also opting to air a local newscast after the US Open at 7:00, pre-empting Access Hollywood (though it repeats at 3:30 AM).

WTVA in Tupelo, MS is moving Wheel of Fortune up to the Days void at 1:00 PM Central today so NBC Nightly News can air at 6:30.

WBBH in Fort Myers, FL is pre-empting today's ep of Wheel entirely to air a local newscast at 7:00. Normally, if a new ep of Wheel is pre-empted, they delay it and the week's remaining episodes by a day and drop the Saturday rerun, but there is no Saturday rerun on WBBH and most other NBC's this week because of the US Open followed by NHL.

WPTZ 5 in Burlington, VT/Plattsburgh, NY announced they will be airing local news at 7:00 and Nightly News at 7:30 Eastern, moving Jeopardy! and Wheel to 5.3 MeTV, both replacing M*A*S*H.

Most Big Three affiliates cut in around 7:50 PM Eastern to announce the death of Ruth Bader Ginsburg. NBC signed off first around 7:59, then CBS at 8:01 (cutting off the beginning of a MacGyver repeat), and ABC went until 8:14 (cutting off a Shark Tank repeat). The coverage was optional, however. All of the Big Three in Philly aired the coverage. All the East Coast ABC O&O's (WABC, WPVI, WTVD, WLS) aired the full coverage. KOTA ABC 3 in Rapid City was showing Wheel of Fortune when I checked it on Locast at 8:07 ET/6:07 MT. Friend of mine in St. Louis who watches and DVR's Wheel every night says KSDK NBC 5 did not interrupt it.

WTVA's 12:30 program to replace the first half of Days was only listed as TBA. It ended up being NBC's Clear the Shelters special. On Thursday, Jeopardy! moved up from 2:00 to 12:30 and 25 Words or Less (normally 1:30) was pre-empted entirely (they only carry one run), as was Inside Edition at 2:30, and Dr. Phil at 3:00 was pre-empted on both days. However, Inside Edition repeats on WTVA-DT2 ABC at 12:37 AM, and Dr. Phil first airs at 11:00 AM on that station.

Two other stations that aired NBC Nightly News at 7:30 ET/6:30 CT today without any announcement or indication in listings: KWQC in Davenport, IA (Wheel bumped to 3:30 AM according to Titan, cutting the Kelly Clarkson encore at 3:00 in half), WETM in Elmira, NY (with Wheel presumably moved to 18.2), and WTOV in Steubenville, OH (Wheel presumably gone entirely, although on some pre-emptions, they bump it to 2:06 AM to replace the Hoda & Jenna encore).
