Entercom has begun another round of programming cuts today.
These cuts will be focused primarily on Program Directors and on-air talent at Alternative and Country formats with the beginning of a move towards regionalizing their operations. We’re told that midday and evening on-air shifts will be either regionalized or made national.

Note some of the staff members who have been removed by entercom has been released.

MARK SCHECTMAN, Morning Drive Host at KVIL (ALT 103.7)/DALLAS for the past year, hosted Afternoons before that. Also hosted specialty show, "Locals Only" and all artist lounge performances.
Also Entercom recently went through management changes prior to these cuts.
