Atlanta radio ratings

Looks like the Fish and K-Love are almost tie. Who could imagine?

Atlanta may be one of the most successful large markets for EMF.

What happened to WBIN? They fell off the ratings chart and their cume fell by about 2/3.

I don't think iHeart had any illusions that the Black Information Network would get ratings. iHeart had other reasons for creating it. As long as the large corporate sponsors remain on board, BIN will be a money maker for iHeart. Whether they stay on board, and the longevity of the network, will probably depend on the mood of the country.

It is the hispanic station at 87.7

It's an analog LPTV Channel 6 Franken-FM. According to the FCC its days are numbered (as with all of the Channel 6 Franken-FMs)

Understood. WAOK doesn't seem to be hurting much, though...

Salem and EMF

I think this first real test the most successful Fish station has had from the EMF's K Love. Salem's most successful Christian AC is in Dallas but its not a Fish and they bought it and did not launch it. It was the most sucessful commercial Christian AC then as well as now. They do not have a Klove competition due to a classic hits station using that moniker, but they are number 1 this past month in these 6+ numbers. I thought the fish would hold on here better, but then again im not looking at the numbers that really matter. The fish and Klove are sharing a tower and Klove proved the 106.7 signal could draw an competitive rating in Atlanta. The best since the Y 106.7 days. then again im not looking at the best demo numbers either.

weekly cume

Through the hisair.net Christian radio information website, I did find some interesting info about the ratings. The total number of listeners for the Fish 6+ is 337,100 while K love 6+ is 192,100 so that shows the fish still has way more listeners than klove but that K love listeners spend a lot more time listening. Praise is still showing more than klove with 237,200 listeners and a higher rank than both the fish and K love in the 6+ ratings. Praise has a high TSL also and this is on weak signal. If Praise had a signal like the fish it would have even better awesome ratings overall but in the main demos that matter to advertisers praise struggles to bill well and needs Hot and Magic to help keep it alive.
