Christmas comes to philly

I never got the point of putting KYW on WBEB-HD2 on top of having it on WIP-HD2. But an October 1 HD-side start for Christmas sounds about right anymore.
For the three people who listen to HD, I doubt “Why sn’t KYW with WIP” something they think of, lol.
As of around midnight last night, it had switched back to what sounded like their previous all-80's feed (with the KYW scroll still up). When I turned my radio on, "Ghostbusters" was playing and I at first thought they decided to shift to a Halloween-themed channel, but another 80's pop song came on afterward.
For me it isn't so much "why isn't KYW with WIP" it's more "Why do they have it on both WIP-HD2 AND WBEB-HD2?" There's no point to having it on multiple HDs
Totally fair, but it’s not like there’s anything else compelling to do with them. Trees falling in the forest and whatnot.
Personally I find this annual game stations put on about when the change will happen to be trite and tiresome, but I get that it works for engagement.
