KNRY 1240 Monterey

Anyone know if Saul has flipped or transferred 1240 in Monterey? The website is gone, and there's no longer any mention of the station on the Mt. Wilson FM Broadcasters website. Streaming has vanished, too.

Here is a page with all actions and apps listed, nothing about a transfer or sale...

Thanks, Dave. The other part of my question (which I should have been more specific about) is whether he's flipped the format.

One website that lists ratings has had KNRY as "Standards" for more than a year, but this week re-listed it as "Classical". I'm wondering if they've gone back to the K-Mozart simulcast from "Unforgettable".

So I've done a lousy job of keeping this up.

KNRY stuck with "Unforgettable' through 2017. When I visited Monterey in March of '18, Saul had flipped it to oldies.

I'm back in Monterey this week, and KNRY is just a straight-up simulcast of KSUR, Los Angeles, which Saul owns. No local imaging to cover the references to "AM 1260" or "L.A.'s Oldies"...I'm guessing "KNRY, Monterey" is somewhere in the legal ID, but otherwise, Saul's just given up.

Caught a legal ID this morning. It's laid over the Los Angeles ID, and has to run twice in a row to cover the L.A. ID. They call it "Monterey's oldies" during the ID---but again, the rest of the hour, it's L.A.'s Oldies. Yikes.

The Hanford youth services station "KFUN" is directly connected to Chris Vern Edwards White or whatever his name is

From the FCC site:
Q: My organization already owns a full-power station. Can we apply for an LPFM construction permit?

A: Generally, no, you cannot apply for an LPFM construction permit if you already own another broadcast station, including an FM translator station or low power TV station. However, there are some exceptions, such as: (1) if you pledge in the LPFM application to divest the existing broadcast station, you can apply for a new LPFM station; (2) you can apply if you are an accredited school that has a non-student-run, full power broadcast station, as long as the LPFM station will be managed and operated by students of your accredited school (the accredited school will not have to divest its non-student-run full power broadcast station); and (3) you can own up to two FM translator stations under certain conditions as noted in 47 C.F.R. § 73.860(b)).

They would have to sell, transfer or renounce the LPFM license.

If you were given an AM/FM combo with significantly better coverage and reach, wouldn't your dispose of the LPFM?

Why not? He has another- the other LPFM in Hanford- licensed under another "non profit".
