WQBC 1420 AM is Now DWQBC

Hey all -

That's a shame. That station dates back to the 1920's as one of the oldest stations in MS. WQBC in Utica "We Quote Better Cotton" It's a shame someone couldn't have gotten it back on the air with a wire antenna just to keep the license active. Someone just wasted money buying it and not even broadcasting.

don't you think if they couldve done that in the years WQBC wasnt broadcasting, they wouldve?
