I have a number of clippings related to WTVQ. One of the principal owners died, and for the next five years they sought to sell the CP to Edward Lamb (WICU, WTVN, etc.) but Lamb was extremely busy trying to prove to the FCC that he wasn't a Communist. By the time he did, the FCC told WTVQ's owners that their proposed sale necessitated a hearing. UHF was a (temporarily) dead horse in Pittsburgh by then, and the CP was surrendered on June 13, 1958.
