She's anchoring the 10 PM news solo tonight (10/18). Who knows what's spinning around in the "minds" of the suits, other than maybe mice on a treadmill? :D

I guess I didn't post it here, but on Facebook, it was mentioned that Kris would be anchoring the Sunday evening news at 5:30 and 10 on CBS 5. She will be doing this in addition to her investigative reporter duties. Perhaps their goal is to totally confuse the viewers...

While it takes a flow chart to determine the anchors at evenings and nights, not sure what they are doing for the Noon News. There have been a hodgepodge of hosts including Maravilla, Quintero, Warnecke, Hechanova, Cerreta, Cruz and LeBeau. I would think, with this being the CBS side, they would appoint an official anchor.
 
Where's Whitney?

Whitney Clark's bio isn't on AZ Family Meet the Team webpage. Don't remember if she was on there previously. She anchored the 5PM Sunday news (10/25/20). Her official Facebook page doesn't mention anything out of the ordinary.

No, AFAIK, Whitney's bio has never been on the azfamily website.
 
Kim Powell announced that she is moving to weekend nights and will be paired with Whitney Clark. Spencer Blake moves to reporting Monday - Friday.

I thought Clark and Blake were a good team.

I think Powell is a very good field reporter.

Also mentioned on a separate post that Monica Garcia is now working GMAZ weekends, replacing Jamie Cerreta.
 
Once Kris Pickel was moved to Sundays at 5:30 and 10pm, Spencer Blake was only anchoring on Saturday evenings. I can understand his desire to just go back to reporting Monday through Friday (at least he has weekends off). So, I wonder if Kim Powell is Saturday evenings only or will she show up on Sunday evenings too?

In any case, I will update the spreadsheet... ;)
 
By the way, Kris Pickel solo-anchored the 6pm news on 3TV last night with Sean doing the weather. He mentioned that it was like a "reunion", but he lost situational awareness at one point and blurted out that "I will have more on the severe weather on our sister station 3TV at 6:30pm". LOL! (@brian4, I think he forgot to check the spreadsheet!!)
