License to Cover was filed for this LPFM earlier this month, meaning they are apparently on the air...

What's it playing? I cannot hear it from my current location. Googling the station finds no website or anything.

It's listed as "Spanish Religion" and the facility is 50 watts at 15 feet above average terrain. That antenna height is lower than the roof over a modern gas station's pump area!

No, they have a construction permit they recently filed the license to cover for.

It's 37 watts at 49 meters.

Also where'd you find out this is a Spanish Religion format? The FCC doesn't have that listed, and Radio-Locator says Variety.

The pending License to Cover for 37 watts at 49 meters is the equivalent of a full LPFM. But it appears to not have been activated.

There are subscription based industry databases that you can subscribe to... they are in the high 4 figures to low 5 figures per year, depending on the extent of the service.

I've never heard a trace of this station KCTC on the air... Even when I used to travel to that area all the time.

Can anyone in San Antonio confirm KCTC-LP's FM signal status?

I can hear the station when I’m driving in the NW San Antonio medical center area on and near Babcock road. It’s a decent signal, but it drops off completely when I move away from that area.

What format is it?
A recent listing had it as Spanish language religion. It is owned by Omega Christian Communications so that kind of format seems logical.

It is broadcasting a Spanish-language Christian format. The other day I was able to hear it out to the IH10/Loop 410 interchange area.

Doesn't sound like it's coming from the site it's licensed for, which is downtown.
Is it coming from the old site, you think so from how you're able to get it? I think the below link is the old site's coverage map.
