Platinomax and Rumba

I thought Sara Franco was the owner of Platinomax? Rumba keeps saying download Platinomax app to listen to Rumba. So why isn’t Rumba on 105.3? At least till she finds someone to lease 105.3.

Platino media leases 104.5 but as far as i know has nothing to do with franco. They use to lease 105.3 from franco .

Is Rumba actually making enough money to be in business? I mean I see their Facebook live streams once in a while and it seems they’re running the station like a regular FM radio station. How many people actually listen to it? Enough for them to stay in business??

They do not show even in the subscriber ratings, so it's hard to tell. Any ads they sell would be to local accounts that measure ratings based on the cash register, not Nielsen. This is where the "dollar a hollar" phrase comes from.
