Stream is fine one place not so much others

I am feeding a MP3 stream from SW Florida. Everyone on the West coast of Florida says it is fine no bups etc but in the Miami area some listeners insist it burps so much they can't listen yet all other stations they listen to on line are fine no burps. I have listened to my stream at various locations within 50 to 60 miles apart up and down the West coast and everything is fine. My daughter in Ohio listens and she says it fine too. Even on my cell driving home no burps just excellent audio. Why do the guys in Miami receive such a bad stream? What do you think?

When you say you're feeding a MP3 stream, are you pushing (or they're pulling) from your audio encoder to a streaming company? Are the listeners hearing the burps in one zip code or on the same ISP? Your streaming provider should be able to isolate to a particular ISP and watch the stream on their network to identify any problems associated with the stream.

I am pushing to them. Only one general zip code says they have problems but the server says they don't see it there

Problem in a specific area usually means you're not the only stream effected. Bet the problem is experienced by people using the same ISP in that particular area.

Bring your streaming provider into the conversation with the local ISP to troubleshoot.
