99.3 in Victoria?

It's been a while since I went through Victoria. I knew of the lp 99.5 but the 99.3 is new to me. It even goes over the 99.5. It's a Spanish format.
Pirate?

I caught it last night. It's "La Nueva Oficial" on my RDS. It's a simulcast of another station, which has created a network. I do know it is an LPFM, which are the worst stations in my opinion.

My Spanish isn't the best, but they were talking about health care coverage.

I used to be able to pull in KOKE out of Austin, but with this new LPFM, those days are over.

It's owned by South Victoria Hispanic Education Family Fundation. Notice how they can't even spell Foundation correctly.

I believe this is one of the Cesar Guel LPFMs.

The strange spelling is intended... "funding". It's a neologism with a purpose.

There are "Hispanic Education Fundations" in South Carolina, Oklahoma, Des Moines, Dubuque, and other parts of Texas like Eagle Pass and Amaraillo.

Please don't be so quick to criticize when there may be a reason for an odd spelling. Radio if full of weird spellings.

Fundation is closer to Foundation than the word Grifter.
