Entercom elevates Roxanne Marati to the position of Senior Vice President and Market Manager for Entercom Kansas City, effective December 1. In this role, she will oversee Entercom's portfolio of Kansas City stations, including 106.5 The Wolf (WDAF-FM), 1660 The Score (KWOD-AM), 610 Sports Radio (KCSP-AM), 98.1 KMBZ FM (KMBZ-FM), 98.9 The Rock (KQRC-FM), 99.7 The Point (KZPT-FM), ALT 96.5 (KRBZ-FM) and Talk 980 AM (KMBZ-AM). She previously served as Vice President of Sales for Entercom Denver since 2013.

Roxanne Marati will be the Market Manager at Entercom Kansas City on December 1st.

I was surprised to find Alpert was out. Of course, between Zuroweste and him, the GM position there had been a revolving door.

From what I've always understood, the GM's at Entercom tend to be sales and revenue focused first. Programming is usually somewhat of an afterthought for them with their OM's more focused on that side. They might be able to lobby for a format change, but it probably won’t happen solely at their whims.
