Yeah, I heard this X-Mas flip as well, back then. I haven't tuned in since, however.
I know that ESPN Desportes is defunct, which, of course, led to the music blocks. But is Actualidad Media Group still running the Unanimo Deportes Radio network on WMYM 990 that replaced it? I can't pick up 990 and haven't been inside its coverage area in a while. The web stream sets off a "security risk," so can't hear what's up.
And WNMA 1210, now that the LMA "1210 The Man" deal is done (land sale; strip mall to come, so it's been said), WNMA is also running A.I music (Anglo/Spanish pop '80s to 2010s) -- without ANY identification nor, most importantly, no Hour IDs, as did WMYM did during their transition.
How can you have automation and not produce/program at least ONE "Hour ID" cart, then let it run, ad nauseam on the quarters, both as a legal ID and sweeper, so you know who they are, is beyond me. Seems like such a simple thing to set up. Makes you wonder if it's an actual automation system -- even the bogus freeware ones -- or is it just an iPod hooked into the feed.
